Junior Content Specialist (Remote)

We are currently looking for a motivated Junior Content Specialist, working remotely from Malaysia.

The primary role of a 2Stallions Junior Content Specialist is to be responsible for producing content for both in-house initiatives - such as 2Stallions’ blog - and for our diverse range of clients. This role will be responsible for delivering excellent content writing and copywriting for both internal and client projects, as a result, excellent writing and communication skills are a must - as is excellent fluency in English.

The successful candidate will show strong independent work abilities, excel at writing in English. If you can write well, fluently in English, and are motivated to learn more about content and copywriting then this might be the role for you.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write content for in-house and external client projects under the guidance of the Head of Content & Social or other project PIC
  • Work with the rest of the Content & Social Team to develop and execute content marketing strategies to achieve internal and client project objectives for content initiatives such as blog article writing, infographic development, and social media content.
  • Develop your writing skills and learn to write engaging and relevant content for various platforms (social, web, and blogs) that will engage and resonate with the audiences, drive engagement and build communities
  • Understand the basics of SEO and how it integrates with content
  • Learn how to write SEO optimised content
  • Work with the SEO team to update existing content to optimize internal-SEO 
  • Drive continuous improvements in your work
  • Be able to take feedback and criticism onboard
  • Be hungry to expand their own knowledge of writing and content marketing

The successful candidate will:

  • Have Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Media, Communications, or any related discipline
  • Have skills and passion for researching on given topics
  • Be able to write; develop outlines and create articles from them. 
  • Be excellent in verbal and written communication skills in English 
  • Pay close attention to detail
  • Be able to cope under pressure
  • Be able to meet deadlines
  • Be able to adapt to change and accept feedback
  • Be able to work independently when needed

  • Have a stable and reliable Internet connection to allow for consistent remote, online work.

Nice to have’s:

  • 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing or a related field. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Any workplace or agency experience involving marketing, communication or content writing
  • Writing experience for blogs, journals, or other publications
  • A writing portfolio showing previous work - academic writing can be included.
