About the role
Manage the agency’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of tailored digital marketing solutions that meet client needs and drive revenue. The role serves as a critical link between our services and the market, ensuring sustainable growth and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing Growth Strategies and Plans:
    • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for expansion into new niches or geographic markets.
    • Set and execute quarterly revenue targets with actionable growth initiatives.
  2. Managing and Retaining Relationships with Existing Clients:
    • Build strong, long-term relationships through regular check-ins and transparent communication.
    • Provide customized reports to demonstrate ROI and gather feedback for improvement.
  3. Increasing Client Base:
    • Leverage tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and connect with potential leads.
    • Represent the agency at industry events and trade shows to network and generate leads.
  4. Having In-Depth Knowledge of Business Products and Value Proposition:
    • Understand and articulate the benefits of services like SEO, PPC, content marketing, and more.
    • Stay updated on industry advancements to position the agency as a thought leader.
  5. Writing Business Proposals:
    • Create compelling proposals using data-driven insights and case studies.
    • Develop visually appealing presentations to clearly communicate solutions and ROI.
  6. Negotiating with Stakeholders:
    • Use a win-win approach to secure agreements, addressing client objections with tailored solutions.
    • Prepare negotiation guidelines that align with agency goals and client expectations.
  7. Researching Business Opportunities and Viable Income Streams:
    • Explore new revenue channels, such as webinars or partnerships with tech companies.
    • Assess opportunities for expansion into adjacent markets or services.
  8. Following Industry Trends Locally and Internationally:
    • Keep abreast of emerging trends through newsletters, conferences, and networking.
    • Implement cutting-edge strategies like AI-driven marketing solutions to stay competitive.
  9. Drafting and Reviewing Contracts:
    • Ensure contracts are comprehensive, covering deliverables, payment terms, and compliance.
    • Regularly review agreements for alignment with updated regulations.
  10. Reporting on Successes and Areas for Improvement:
    • Use analytics tools to track KPIs and generate performance dashboards.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to address gaps and optimize performance.
  11. Entering and Maintaining Accurate Information in ActiveCampaign CRM:
    • Ensure CRM data is accurate and up-to-date.
    • Leverage automation features to optimize lead nurturing and client communication.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, preferably within the digital marketing industry.
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing products and services.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRMs (e.g., ActiveCampaign) and marketing automation tools.
  • Ability to identify and capitalize on market trends.
  • Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
