As the Head of Content & Creative, you will play a pivotal role in shaping 2Stallions' client brand narratives and driving sustained engagement to various content platforms.
You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive content strategies that align with client business objectives, position them as thought leaders, and generate leads. You'll lead and inspire the Content & Social Media team, ensuring exceptional content reaches target audiences across diverse platforms such as websites, and organic social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
This role encompasses managing both internal and client content marketing projects, guaranteeing the consistent delivery of high-calibre content that adheres to our brand standards and achieves client goals.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Development:
- Develop, recommend, and implement an integrated content strategy aligned with marketing goals, both short- and long-term.
- Research and identify content themes and topics that educate customers and support business objectives.
- Lead the content team in creating high-quality content (videos, infographics, blogs, data visualisation, visual designs, carousels) for multiple platforms (websites, social media, publications).
- Continuously monitor and adapt the strategy based on data, analytics, and market trends.
- Ensure content adheres to brand guidelines for structure, layout, tone of voice, and user experience across all channels.
- Conduct competitor and internal content audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay informed of legal considerations like copyright and data protection laws.
- Explore and leverage new technologies (e.g., AI integrations) to refine content creation workflows, operational efficiency & excellence, and strategy.
- Work alongside the Sales team to deliver compelling pitches for new projects and accounts.
Content Management & Optimisation:
- Develop and maintain content style guides and best practices.
- Oversee the implementation of established content strategies.
- Establish and optimise workflows for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and archiving content.
- Develop and implement measurement systems to track content performance against objectives.
- Optimise content for search engines and user experience.
- Continuously test and refine content based on data analysis.
- Support the Performance and Tech teams to develop designs for ad and web purposes.
Content & Social Team Management:
- Manage the content team, including recruitment, training, and professional development.
- Provide mentorship and support to team members, fostering their growth and career progression.
- Lead the team in developing content for both internal marketing and client projects.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
Academic & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related area (eg. Mass Communication, Marketing)
Achievements & Experience
- 5+ years of relative business experience (preferably B2B & B2C, content marketing and/or communications)
- 2+ years of managerial experience
- 1+ years of client relationship experience
- Agency experience added advantage
- Fluency in English (Written and Verbal)
- Strong understanding and proven application of website technologies, social media platforms and email marketing - including SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and SEM (Search Engine Marketing)
- Good technical understanding of web analytics and the ability to pick up and apply new monitoring and reporting tools quickly
- Experience with AI tools for content writing and marketing for copywriting and advertisement
- High Proficiency in MS Office and Google
- Experience with content management systems and multichannel marketing software
- Experience and strong understanding of data protection laws and copyright regulations
- Experience with public relations initiatives
