Digital Sales Executive

As a Digital Sales Executive you play a key role in driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and selling digital marketing and e-commerce solutions. This is a sales-focused role with commission-based incentives, ideal for someone who thrives on closing deals, building relationships, and contributing directly to the company’s commercial success.
You will be responsible for identifying leads, pitching tailored solutions, and managing the sales cycle from outreach to conversion. With support from the Marketing and Client Servicing teams, you’ll help position the company as a trusted digital partner across Malaysia and beyond.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Proactively source, qualify, and convert leads through outbound outreach and follow-up on marketing-generated inquiries
- Drive sales of digital services including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, media buys, and digital strategy consulting
- Sell web development projects, including e-commerce platforms, corporate websites, and CMS-based solutions
- Understand client requirements and collaborate with technical teams to scope and price tailored solutions
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets with commission earned on closed deals
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
- Build strong relationships with prospective clients, acting as a trusted point of contact throughout the sales cycle
- Conduct discovery calls, prepare proposals, and support sales presentations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction
Market Intelligence & Networking
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging client needs
- Attend networking events, industry meetups, and client engagements to expand your pipeline and visibility
CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities in the CRM
- Provide regular updates on pipeline status, conversion rates, and feedback from prospects
Academic & Professional Qualifications
- Diploma, Professional Certs, Degree or higher.
Achievements & Experience
- 2-3 years of professional experience in sales / business development, specialising in software sales or digital marketing.
- Basic knowledge in Digital Marketing, primarily Search Engine Marketing and Social Media Marketing / Advertising
- Sales prospecting experience – cold calling
- Experience in an agency will be considered a plus
